Return Policy & Process

Christmas items are not eligible for return after Christmas.
For holiday items, the return period is 14 days from order delivery date. For non-holiday items, the return period is 21 days from order delivery date. Your request to make a return must be submitted within that window by using the Return Portal. If approved, you must ship your return to us within 5 days.
To start the return process, use our Return Portal. You may request a UPS return shipping label or use your own shipping label. If you request a UPS label, $8.95 will be deducted from any refund due.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, unused, unstained, undamaged, unwashed, unaltered, odor free and with original tags attached and intact and in original packaging.
Think of your return as your opportunity to sell your items back to us and give some thought to the condition of your return. We reserve the right to reject a return if we believe the item has been worn. We are so grateful for your support and will do our best to take care of our customers. We ask that you respect us in turn.

Enclose the receipt or proof of purchase in the package with the item(s) you are returning.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain items are Final Sale and CANNOT be returned. These include: items priced below full price (aka sale items), special occasion items, hair accessories, hats, belts, socks/tights/booties and clearance items with prices ending in $0.97 or $0.99.
Pre-Order Items are returnable only for store credit - not a refund.
Shoe Returns: Shoes must be returned in the original shoe box and the shoe box packed in a shipping box. Shoes returned in bags or with markings, stickers, address info., etc. on the shoe box or missing the original shoe box will not be accepted.
Exchanges
We do not facilitate exchanges on items. Simply return the item(s) you have, and make a separate purchase for the new item(s) desired.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately (within 3 days) if any item is defective, damaged or incorrect, so that we can evaluate and resolve the issue.
Refunds
You will receive an email letting you know your return was received. If approved, your original payment method will be refunded within 10 business days. Orders originally shipped with free shipping may be subject to $7.95 shipping charge deducted from any refund due. It may take some time for the bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at customercare@bestdressedchild.com.
